SATURDAY, 5/1: RALLY FOR IMMIGRANT AND LABOR RIGHTS, 11AM, FOLEY SQUARE

May 1st is a critical day to stand up AGAINST Arizona’s anti-immigrant law SB1070 and demand just and humane immigration reform. Marches and rallies are planned throughout the nation (including 7 in New York State). We hope you and your communities are fired up and ready to join us in Foley Square on Saturday –  We expect 10,000+ people from immigrant communities and labor unions across New York City!

SCHEDULE for May 1st!

11am:   Gather and rally in Foley Square! Live music, speakers, chants
12noon:MARCH!
1pm:     RALLY– live bands, speakers, choirs, etc!  The rally will probably go until 3pm at the latest.

NEW SANCTUARY MEET-UP SPOT:

New Sanctuary will meet-up in IN FOLEY SQUARE, on the SOUTHEAST SIDE near the intersection of Centre St and Pearl St.  We’ll have our banner and hope you and your organizations can join us there! We will be there starting at 11:00AM!  See map below for exact location.

Foley Square is on Worth Street between Centre & Lafayette Sts.  Nearest Trains: A/C/E to Chambers St, R/W to City Hall, 4/5/6 to Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall.
